I attended the celebration of the Wayside Memorial Park in Two Hills, where they have a little chapel, tables, area to park, and will have a monument paying tribute to fallen riders. Bob Ross has been holding big Run to the Hills rallies for 9 years and he and his volunteers have put in countless hours of work to improve the park. This year, Two Hills was nominated as the first "Canada's Rider Friendly Community", beating out much bigger communities all across the country. Congratulations to Bob and all of the hard-working volunteers on a fantastic event!
I attended the 2016 Boyle Rodeo, including the fun morning parade. I'd like to thank the Boyle Ag Society for putting on a fantastic event. We all had a blast! Also, thank you to the dedicated volunteers - Barry, Wes, Aidan and Annalise (and Shayne!) - who came out to help and spend the day with me. Thank you to Wade Anderson for lending this beautiful car to us for the parade.
I toured the Vermilion campus of Lakeland College with MLA Richard Starke. We're fortunate to have such a renowned educational facility for agriculture studies right here in Lakeland.
